Once again a very memorable evening at The Criterion Restaurant in the heart of Piccadilly. We were on our way to the Comedy Theatre and decided to go for a pre theatre meal. Every time I turn up I am transported back in time. It has got to be the most glamorous and sophisticated restaurant in London. The inside is just amazing. Gilded ceilings, gold and marble everywhere. From the moment you arrive you are really looked after. The food is just scrummy. We had the Comfort food menu and a glass of champagne. It really was so good, I didn’t want to leave. I look forward to returning to the Criterion restaurant very soon.
